I have reached that predictably familiar part of the year when I am procrastinating on my Yuletide assignment. This time I actually picked up a pinch hit for an entirely different exchange, and wrote 5K of KJ Charles' fashion lesbians in 1920s Paris:

I am extremely grateful to my sister for conveniently having rented an apartment in the right bit of Paris that I could borrow, complete with photos, and I only wish I'd had more time and been able to work in Pat & Fen from Charles' linked England series (I nearly got there - Graham, although an original character, was going to be my bridge).

I wrote this about 2 hours before reveals after rachelmanija encouraged people to add treats, and it was a lot of fun. Basically I typed "Not all Stardew Valley’s festivals appear on the calendar" and then wrote a story about something entirely different, but with (hopefully) the same unnerving undercurrent.

I need to fix the formatting on this, because I don't think my idea of having different fonts for the two timelines works. Anyway. WWI, bells, and a strained, secret relationship. I struggled with this piece quite a bit initially, although I'm mostly happy with the result.
