PSA - on October 27th, the British Library are playing the first half hour of the Dark is Rising audio adaptation, followed by Susan Cooper herself, in conversation with Natalie Haynes. I am not going to this because a) I am in Denmark and b) by the time I found out about it all the in person tickets had gone (otherwise I would have been trying to work out how to get back) BUT you can buy on-line tickets for £6.50 and these will give you the right to watch the recording for up to 48 hours afterwards - here - which I have now done.

This is the launch weekend for the British Library's Fantasy: Realms of Imagination exhibition, with numerous other interesting events (I am particularly tempted by the Aliette de Bodard & Adrian Tchaikovsky discussion on world-building). I will definitely be going to the exhibition at some stage but will need to work out when.
