Dragon Age Origins
Jun. 20th, 2012 11:17 pmI have finally gotten into this (tried after ME2 but stopped as a) not in space and b) accidentally picked really boring origin story - elfish mage, bunch of really unexciting characters for whom I had no sympathy asking me to solve their problems) and am enjoying it much more as a human rogue, especially now that I'm about 15 hours in and have finally gotten the hang of actually hitting various tactics on the radial wheel during the battle rather than once it's all over. However. I thought all the love interests were bisexual, and have been, therefore, determinedly hitting on Alistair, the other warden, with my male warden. I just got a dialogue option to ask him about his sexual experience (none), which looked very promising, and then the conversation kind of went sideways into hearty manly knee-slapping, and now Google informs me he is only available for romances with female wardens. Arrgh.
(there's Morrigan, but I have managed to unerringly pick dialogue options that annoy her, and Leilana doesn't really do anything for me. I suspect that I am going to end up hitting on the blond male elvish assassin with an "exotic" accent that I have just picked up, and going out in a flurry of cliches)
I am playing this for the plot. Obviously.
