Thanks so much for answering my request! This is rather belated, so if you’ve started already do feel free to go with whatever you’ve come up with - these are really just suggestions.
I am more than happy with art or fic for any of my requests. In fic, I like plot, humour, and getting to spend more time with characters I love in worlds I enjoy revisiting. I prefer upbeat or bittersweet endings to downers. I prefer no earthquakes, child harm/death, nor extensive medical details. In art I like pieces with strong visual styles rather than photorealism or manips (although I am fine with game art for either of the two gaming fandoms), and I like feeling that I’m getting a glimpse behind the story.
Final Fantasy VII, Zack Fair/Cloud Strife. I played this for the first time in 2011, although I’d actually read fanfic for this pairing before that and loved it without fully appreciating the whole inevitable doom factor (I was, in fact, remarkably unspoiled for a number of key game revelations). I am super excited for the remake. I particularly love Cloud in all his emo-heroicness and Zack is definitely someone I can always do with more of. I am happy for sexual content at any level of explicitness. For this I would love pre-game scenes or AUs of game events (rather than mundane/coffee shop AUs). Given the canon I have no objection to wingfic.
Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective, Missile & Sissel. This game and these characters made me cry (happy tears!). Anything about these two, basically, even just a tiny glimpse.
Dragonlance - Margaret Weis & Tracy Hickman. Caramon Majere and Raistlin Majere. This is a definite shout-out to my teenage obsessions. I loved the Twins series and found these two deeply appealing in a totally dysfunctional way. I am definitely looking for a sibling relationship and nonsexual, but apart from that, anything. Dragons a plus but not required, mundane AUs great, AUs from plot great, totally weird AUs great, outakes from their childhood great - go wild.
