Eat Drink Make Merry

Thanks so much for writing for me! Apologies for not having this ready earlier. I really look forward to seeing what you write and if you’ve started something already just go with it.
I like food and I like fandom, so this seems like a fantastic challenge. I like sharing food and hunting down obscure ingredients, unexpected treats and elaborate formal dinners, outdoor picnics and home cooking. I do like sensual descriptions of food but do not like food used in sex. More generally I like humour, excitement, angst (if justified – not massive amounts of agonising over things that don’t warrant it), moments of peace amongst activity, and moments that make me feel I'm back in the fandom again.
Artwise, I like a range of styles, from cartoon/chibi to black & white to photorealism. I tend to like art that focuses on the quieter moments in canon and gives characters a breathing space between dramatic events; I’m happy with explicit art (as long as it’s tagged!).

Zack Fair/Cloud Strife
I have not yet played the remake! But I love the original, and hopefully there's not too much difference. I really like Cloud, I'd love to see him happy, and Zack seems the ideal person to ensure this. Taking Cloud to his favourite hole-in-the-wall restaurant? Surprising him with sweets on a mission? Or have Cloud take care of Zack, unexpectedly? Bizarre foods and game references welcome. I am particularly fond of pregame military training settings and chocobos (although please don't eat the chocobos!).
Gundam Wing
Chang Wufei/Duo Maxwell
Basically I love this series and its completely incomprehensible approach to space warfare, and I am especially fond of Wufei for his grumpiness and actual competence. I love space battles, space colonies, people repairing their Gundams, and am also fond of the total fanfic cliche of hiding out in a safehouse. Especially if it's in space. Did I mention the space bit? Surprise cooking from unlabelled supplies, humourous foraging attempts, a revelation of a secret fondness for pastries (for either) - go for it.

Post-Apocalyptic Food Truck Owner/Hungry Wasteland Traveler
I'm happy with f/f or m/m for any of these but would prefer no het (I realise I didn't put that on DNW so if you've started go for it). All of these sound great set-ups for amazing/disturbing food and exciting and/or intimate character moments. Do the forest and farm mage have a long-running rivalry over agriculture, waged in competitive cooking battles? What alien delights has the space station customer indulged in? Can the hungry wasteland traveller afford the price the post-apocalyptic food truck owner is asking for?
