What I'm reading (partial at best!)

What I'm reading is always difficult to define, as there's always a nebulous cloud of half-finished books (hard and electronic copy) and open tabs, waiting for the right time or mood or conjunction of astronomical bodies. Anyway. I am re-reading Antonia Forest's End of Term very slowly for the discussion at
trennels, and
biskybat's New Term to deal with wanting to read more. Upstairs I have the first two of Dick Francis' Sid Halley books, in a 2-in-1 omnibus that for some unfathomable reason printed the second one first, so that the first time I read it I thought the first one had taken a somewhat avant garde approach to starting in media res, and then halfway through the second one actually read the copyright information and thought bitter thoughts about the eccentricity of publishers. On Kindle I have Lia Silver's Laura's Wolf, which I started reading, stalled on, read Echo's Wolf and loved it, and am now going back to.
