Recent things I've liked

Elizabeth Wein's Code Name Verity is indeed as excellent as everyone has said. It's set in WWII, and, really, the less you know about it going in the better. I wish I knew which box my copies of her other books are in.

Bironic's multifandom space vid, to Nicki Minaj's Starships. Man, I miss having a live-action TV series set in space. Or even a good movie. Fortunately I have some very good manga (currently reading Twin Spica), but this reminded me of so many other cool things.
