Aww, that sounds like a lovely trip, despite the disruption caused by the weather! I loved the Caledonian Sleeper when I travelled on it last year.

My first thought was Pickle, but I suppose it was Bradstreet, if the museum was mostly focussed on the '45 itself. And wow, those details of soldiers' and officers' kit sound fascinating—I must find an opportunity to put the wig-curling irons in a FotH fic!

Hee, I remember the Nessie souvenir shops in Fort Augustus XD It is a very different place indeed now from what it was in Keith Windham's time.
